Stone Harbor Weakfish Fishing Charters

Get up early, and start your day off right – with fishing! Depending on the season we will either fish the back bays or out in the ocean (this will be discussed prior to departure). All of the fishing gear and bait will be provided. We target a variety of fish species depending on the time of the year, again, this will be discussed prior to departure. We have options regarding where we fish; back bays, Delaware Bay, and the ocean. Weather and conditions will play a role in where we go, and departure time.

Back bay fishing

Head out with Capt Mike targeting a variety of fish. Flounder, Bluefish, WeakFish, Striped Bass, Small Sharks, Rays and more all call Atlantic City's waters home and its a ton of fun catching them! On these trips we'll do our best to mix it up going after different fish depending on tide, weather and time of year. All fishing gear and bait is provided, just come ready to have a good time!

Drift the calm back waters of Avalon and Sea Isle mainly for Flounder. Various other species may be caught. Great family trip so bring the kids.

Bay Fishing is a great way to catch fish like Flounder, Crockers, Striped Bass, Blue Fish, Sea Bass, and many more! This is an excellent opportunity to get out in the waters and discover what's behind bay fishing. Includes refreshers, fishing license, rods, reels, and extra tackle.

Come out and enjoy a simple and easy trip for a few hours! This is the perfect trip if you are looking to get away from the beach for a few hours while on vacation or perfect to introduce the family and kids to fishing! The back bay water offers the best options for versatile fishing. The possibility of species to catch is extraordinary. Between Flounder, Weakfish, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Sea Bass, Sand Sharks, Sea Robin, Spot, Kingfish, and the list goes on!

We'll create a memorable experience on the water for you and your kids, fishing and/or crabbing, making lasting memories of good times. This is a great opportunity to introduce the young ones to boating and fishing. Kids aren't mandatory though. If you are looking for a shorter trip, we'll be glad to have you aboard for a couple of hours. Maximum 4 passengers/anglers including kids.

Enjoy a 4-hour fishing trip starting in the morning. You and Captain Jerry will be searching back bay waters and targeting a variety of species. The price includes fishing rods, reels, tackle, and catch cleaning The trip runs from March 1 to October 31.

You get what you come for on these trips. We get right to work and straight to the point when trying to help you accomplish your goal of catching a shark from the beach. With over 10,000 hours on Jersey sand dedicated to our craft, the Apex Anglers team is a well oiled shark fishing machine. Book with confidence as we take care of everything from bait to gear. Your guide(s) AJ and/or Mark are ready to make your night on the Jersey shore a memorable one. All sharks will be tagged and released!

Our trips are flexible and departure time is mostly based on your availability and the tide conditions that are producing the most action based on the time of year. We fish a combination of artificial, live and/or cut bait to land your target species. 4 hours allows us time to target the back waters or our local wrecks from April through the end of our summer months. During the spring and from Nov-Dec we target Striped Bass that migrate along the coast.
