My husband and I can to Foley Alabama for a training and the fishing trip was just a last minute decision, so we used Fishingbooker to get our day planned. We had never been here and we couldn’t have picked a better guide. The day was cold a little windy and John was completely honest with us and told us that the day before the fishing was not good and he said we would not be able to go out and that we would be staying in the channel but my husband and I decided we would go and sure glad we did. We met the nicest Husband and wife team. I caught one small fish but we got more than that out of the cold windy day! We will be back and we will book with John because of his honesty with us and we learned when the best time was to come when it’s not peak season. Thank agin John see you next time!!

The bait barely hit the bottom on the first cast and had a fish on. We ended up bringing home 18 sheepshead and ran out of room in the cooler. Caught some that we lost and caught a bunch of red snapper that we had to throw back due to them not being in season. Captain John had us on the fish from the start to the finish. My wife even got to enjoy a “flipper” show. It was an enjoyable experience and I highly recommend. Thanks again.

We laughed with the captain when we showed up for a 9 am trip that was booked at 11:38 pm the night before! We were amazed at how great the trip was! We caught 51 trout on a 2 hour trip and didn’t have to do a single thing! They took care of finding the fish, baiting the hooks, taking the fish off and getting our pole right back out there! We got back, they scaled and filleted all the fish and sent us home ready to make a great lunch for our group of 7, with some to take home! Definitely recommend this crew! We will be booking for a longer trip next time we are here! Thank you guys so much!!!
