Captain Ariel was easy to communicate with before arriving, knowing what we needed and dealing with port fees etc. On the day of the trip, we went with Hector and Fernando and they were great hosts and guides. We ended up catching 28 Bonita, only losing a few (our error), including one much larger fish(unseen). Luis and Angel were awesome. My son and two brothers caught nice fish. I pulled a 50# Jack Crevelle, but it snapped the lone as we were bringing it into the boat.  As our time was up they cleaned our fish, and we headed back. Luis saw a school of fish and cranked the boat over, grabbed a rod and bait.  Determined to make sure we all got a fish.  Luis did a super hero cast. I hooked a huge Jack.  We all came back with a fish. Ill be booking with them again!

Capt Ariel and deckhand Hector were great about getting us to places where we found fish, and Ariel was very good at teaching us different fishing techniques. We caught a ton of Bonita, a bunch of Spanish mackerel, and a few groupers. Some bigger, fightier fish would have been fun too, but we were happy with what we caught. Also, the Calypso hooded shirts we bought are awesome!!!

Captain Ariel contacted us the day before our trip to ask what we are looking to catch. He gave us his assessment and had several recommendations of where we could go with the best chance of finding fish. Well, we took one of his recommendations and caught more fish than we ever expected.
