Despite us not landing a single tarpon in the boat, our fishing excursion was a great time. We hooked into several tarpon and the fight was worth the price of the excursion. Seeing the fish jump out of the water was a first for me and an exciting experience.                                                               
The captain was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable about fishing and Puerto Rico itself. I would highly recommend this fishing experience.

We (dad, mom, 7.5 yo son) took an AM half day trip with Alex.  We couldn’t have asked for a guide that was a better teacher - we’d never fished Tarpon before - more passionate about Puerto Rico, interested in the history of the Caribbean, and an overall cool dude.  We enjoyed his teaching and conversation the entire time.  Alex was sure to teach our son the fundamentals of catching Tarpon (he was the first in the family to land one).  We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

I recently had the privilege of joining Captain Miguel on a fishing excursion, and it was truly remarkable. Despite reeling in three tarpon instead of the anticipated eight, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.

One of the best charters I’ve ever taken. Capt Fernando was incredible. Prompt, profesional, patient and a true fishing addict. Gave wonderful clear directions on how to land the big ones. A local with a lifetime of fishing knowledge. His passion to put fish on the rod for ppl is above and beyond. Within 10 min we were the envy of every charter in sight being towed around the bay by monsters. He flawlessly coached a newbie and put a 143lb tarpon on the side of his boat, her first fish ever. Trip of a lifetime. If you go into it understanding it’s fishing, not catching it’s a wonderful experience either way. Follow the direction of this Capt and your chances improve greatly. Thank you Capt Fernando, you sir have one hell of a fishing career ahead of you. Can’t wait to do it again !

I had captain Miguel for my trip and he’s the best charter captain I’ve ever had.  I let him know that catching a trophy tarpon was a dream of mine and he treated it like it was his own!  After putting me on a 100+ lb tarpon within the first hour of the trip, we went on a species hunt and were able to land barracuda, Spanish mackerel and saw plenty of Snook.  He even helped us locate a place that would prepare the fish and took plenty of great pictures that will ensure that I never forget the wonderful time we had.  Absolutely a class act and I will be booking with them every time I visit PR.  Tight lines!
