What a fun experience! There was 5 of us that went out on the boat with hopes of cathing something cool. We had never done deep sea fishing before so we didn’t know what to expect. We all had a great time. The captain (Carson) and Ronnie were nothing but great to us. They were very welcoming and answered all of our questions. We ended up catching 5-6 sharks and some small bass that we used as bait. Carson even stayed out an extra hour for us because we weren’t really catching anything at first. We had a blast! I would recommend this trip in a heartbeat. It was our favorite part of the trip!

Posting this a little late due to damaging my phone on vacation, but we did a half day fishing trip with my wife and our 9 year old daughter.. along with another couple on board as well.. From the time we stepped on board, the Captain, Carson and his mate Roger were great!  They made sure to make us feel welcome as well as showing attention to our daughter!  Once we started fishing, Carson made sure that my daughter was the first one to reel in a fish!!  We had bites the entire time fishing and caught enough fish that we stopped counting!  The Crew was right there to provide any assistance as soon as we needed it and if the fish weren’t biting, they were quick to move us to a better spot!  Later in the day, we moved to a spot to target Sharks which worked out perfect with everyone on board catching a couple sharks a piece!  To top it all off, Captain Carson “anointed” a special “Co-Captain” and let my daughter drive the boat!  On top of that, we aren’t talking about driving for just a minute, Carson was showing her how to use the instruments and let her drive for a solid 20 minutes!  We had a great time on board that day and would highly recommend it!  Only downfall was at the end when it came to paying the balance for the trip.. Fishingbooker mentioned taking Amex, but Fish Hook themselves prefer not to take it because of the fees!  So either bring cash or don’t use an Amex!  Other than that, trip was AMAZING!

It was a little windy and the fish apparently were not hungry this morning but Captain Carson and his 1st mate were great. We had so much fun hanging out with these guys and reeling in what did come to us. We ended up catching about 8 Spanish Mackerl, a large Black Tip shark that was 52 inches long (to small to keep but a huge adrenaline rush for everybody 😂) ! And a Hammer Head Shark that was also to small to keep but was so much fun to catch. These guys were great! They were fun and very knowledgeable out on the water. This is our 2nd year coming and we are looking into the 9 and 12 hr trip very soon! These boys worked so good together, we always felt safe (even me who anxiety is my middle name 😅) and they really looked after my daughter in law who got sea sick. If this is on your list of to dos or maybes, GO ! DO IT!

Myself and two friends were down in NMB and had an excellent day on the water.Both the captain and mate did an excellent job, everyone felt well taken care of.
We came home with a bunch of Spanish mackerel that made for a great meal that night.

Ty and Carson were great to work with.  I took my wife, 5yo daughter and 8 year old son out and we split the charter with another couple by booking through the app.  The boat was plenty big enough to share with the other couple, and after having seen the shoulder to shoulder party fishing trips headed out, I’m glad I didn’t cheap out. 

Buy the trip, Ty and Carson found the fish and will make you glad you went with them.
