We’d like to clarify that we refuel at the beginning of the trip because the public restrooms at the marina are no longer available. The only way for our guests to have access to a restroom before departure is to stop at the fuel dock, and the only way to do so is by actually fueling at that time — it’s a policy we must follow.

Regarding the early return, you’re absolutely right to bring it up. In some cases, when the fishing is very slow — as it unfortunately was that day — the captain may choose to return a bit earlier. However, we sincerely apologize for not communicating or agreeing on that decision with you in the moment. That should have been made clear, and we take full responsibility for the oversight.
