While the captain was friendly ,
The boat was rough and badly maintained , along with tackle that was fit for the bin.
The bilge kept filling with water and required constant draining with the bilge pump which was switched on by touching two wires together ....not recommended where there is gas present !!!

Although one person did catch 1 Wahoo, I was very disappointed that myself and my husband never even got to hold a fishing pole, let alone fish. Our captain Miguel baited all 3 poles, threw them out to troll and drove around. This went on 4 1/2 hours of our 5 hour trip. The last 30 min one got hooked and our friend reeled that one in. I understand that cannot control if we catch anything, but when you pay to go fishing one would expect they get to actually try to fish. Our captain didn’t really speak any English so communication was an issue when we tried to ask if we could do some of the work. I don’t think we would use them again for our next trip.

I hope people can get complete accurate information before they pay for the trip. I didn’t get that. I was under the impression that it’s a 23 ft boat as mentioned. It turned out to be a18ft really old boat. No life vests on the boat, scary! The captain Roberto didn’t speak any English. Spoke 10 words in 4hrs. I’m a fisherman myself and I noticed that the captain technique was not great and he didn’t even let me cast my own polls. I didn’t catch any Marlin or big fish which is fine but we didn’t even go away from the shore to try and catch anything big. You won’t catch big fish near the coast. We stayed closer to the coast 90 percent of the time. At the end we caught trigger fish, which in the description for this Adventure states that cleaning is included but he just drop me off and had me find someone else to go pay to clean it which cost me another 10 bucks. I would not recommend this company. We came all the way down to fish and this was a disappointing experience. Lastly, I do not recommend that any children or elderly people go on this trip as there were no lifevests or a safety briefing.
