If you’re looking for a no frills experience, just get out and catch fish, this is it. Be sure to bring plenty of ice and waters, when the fish are biting, need a way to keep them cool!

Fishing was good and our Captain was knowledgeable and nice!

Coming to Los Cabos, I was very excited and looking forward to being able to fish and have a chace to catch a marlin at this world class fishing place. However, I was very disappointed that we did not catch a single fish, as per how anyone would feel to spend so much money and not catch a single fish. After two hours on sea, there was a mahi mahi that bit the live bait but it was a baby that couldnt swallow the hole bait, and so did not eat the hook. Other than this small rush of excitement where I was just dissapointed, nothing happened. For 4 hours, we just drove around on the boat “looking” for any fish or marlin. However, I do want to recognize that not catching a fish some days is a part of fishing. Some days, it just works out great, some times, due to weather, luck, water conditions, or where the fish groups went, you just simply won’t catch a fish. If you want to book this charter, be advised of the possibility of not catching anything as it is a part of fishing. If you want to garantee a fish, it may be better to consider charters with fish finders or book longer hours. The captain, Pedro, was alright and the customer service was decent (responded quickly and thoroughly).

We had an excellent time today. The reason I gave it 4 stars was not because of the captain. Giovanni was excellent and worked his butt off. He helped us land my husband’s first striped marlin. It was only due to the fact that I requested to fish for snapper and rooster fish and that there was a toilet onboard (like the fishing booker suggested), but he did not bring any gear to fish for that only to troll for marlin, wahoo, dorado and tuna, nor was there a baño. It was fine, and like I said he worked his butt off, and we did catch a fish. When the bite slowed, he striped the lines and got us to a place to jig for snappers and pulled out some tackle that would work.

We saw tons of porpoises and whales as an added bonus. All the tackle worked well, and the boat was clean and comfortable. He was an excellent captain.
