Not sure I have enough good words to say about the company, the captain and the overall amazing experience. I’m not an experienced angler by any stretch, and while my friend is, it’s all West coast. Won’t lie, I was a bit nervous. Didn’t take long before I felt like a natural, thanks to Captain Marcus from Bad Intentions Fishing Charters.  It was evident from the beginning it was going to be an amazing experience for three reasons: Marcus’s knowledge, charisma, and music taste. First of all, Marcus was punctual, ready to go right at 7 just like he said. He greeted us in such a way that was very professional but also made you feel like you were about to go fishing with a friend. That continued throughout the trip. As we made our way to the first spot, he put on some tunes, Audioslave “Show me how to live”. It only got better from there. Marcus put us on some sheep head, something I’d had only experienced catching by accident in a casting net. Marcus showed us how to do it on purpose, and man was that fun. But nothing compared to the following spot, where as we made our way, he continued to spin awesome jams, and put me on to my new addiction. Red fishing. Man what a thrill. Marcus was incredibly knowledgeable on where the fish were as well helping an amateur like me learn how to bring them in. It was one of the most enjoyable overall experiences in my adult life. Not just the fishing, not just the beautiful water, not just the jams, but mostly because of Marcus. Can’t say enough good things about the young man. Incredibly reasonable rates for the service he provided. Book with him now, I’ll bet a good penny, you’ll be wait listed in years to come.

Capt. Marcus was a great fishing guide! Our party included me, my son, and my 14 year
old grandson. He kept our lines baited and quickly replaced tackle as needed. He also moved to three different fishing spots attempting to keep us catching fish. For mid July we did pretty good. Our catch included Red Fish, Black Drum, Sea Bass, and Sheepshead. Of course there had to be some Toadfish too! We all had a great time and created some great memories! I’m sure some great fish tales will come out as well. I highly recommend Capt. Marcus and “Bad Intentions”!!

Booked a trip for myself while visiting my daughter who has very little fishing experience.  She decided to join the trip.  We both had a great time.  Marcus had us setup quickly and on the fish.  We caught 4 different species of fish.  We each caught reds over the slot limit.  Both of us really enjoyed Marcus’s company and expertise.  Not a bad thing to say about this trip!

We had an unforgettable time on our charter fishing trip with Marcus! From start to finish, he was professional, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took us to all the right spots, made sure we were set up for success, and was super patient and encouraging—especially for those of us who were new to fishing. Even though we chose to release all the fish we caught, the thrill of the experience and Marcus’s awesome energy made it one of the best days we’ve had on the water.
