If you can't book Fishing Devotion, then hire one of the other local guides. We met a couple of them when we were fishing with Fishing Devotion, and they are all great guys.

July and August may not be the best times to go but it was still tolerable and worth it.

Joseph was super patient and would be perfect for anglers fishing in the ocean for the first time.

I don’t really know enough about saltwater fishing to make a useful suggestion

Look to catch snook and black drum. The jacks are fun to catch, but aren’t eating fish.

Richard Tillmann
The water is a bit colder than usual so the bite was slower. But still a good time!

Our captain said this time of year is a bit slower for fish but the weather was gorgeous!

Heath Crouch
Absolutely, If you can get hooked up with Joseph, he’ll definitely take care of you!

Michael Brooks
Don’t have an agenda just be ready to let the captain give you the best experience.

PETER GOADBY
Yes and Captain Joseph will help you as much, or as little, as you want so everyone wins

James Sadler
Go with a charter that is all about fishing. Make sure they live the charter fishing life.

Peter Xing
Water temperature didn’t allow other game fish, but very good for beginners to start fishing.

January, we were told, can be kind of hit and miss. It would be wise to be ready for the unknown.

Christina George
Weather conditions are unpredictable so rely on your captain and keep in touch prior to the trip.
