Fishing in August probably not the best month for stripers, but possibly okay for other species.

It was choppy out there, the winds and tide can make it harder to fish. But Captain Jason did get us on fish many times, a skilled guide is needed.

Yes for sure, I was a bit of a nervous angler so Jason was really flexible and changed the date a few times to ensure weโd a calm sunny day!

Find a seasoned captain like Jason or Ron, there is no replacement for local knowledge and experience!
Jacob Hastings
Stay flexible with your schedule, weather makes a difference and the Captain is great about reaching out to work around bad weather. Farther off shore can get cold, bring a jacket or sweatshirt.

Highly recommend. My guests were one man and three women who fish freshwater periodically in NC. One hadnโt fished at all in 30 years. Everyone caught fish and had a blast!

I would highly recommend taking the live liner out for a charter. Very fun time
