Easy access to the boat ramp at Jensen Beach. Parking available near the yellow building, which has restroom facilities, no fees for parking. Able to fish inshore and offshore. Overall positive fishing experience!

We caught over 30 fish. I know the fishing has been slow especially since the water temp has dropped due to the polar vortex pushing cold weather down here in Florida but they were hitting as the water temp started creeping back twords 60

Bring a rash guard and sunscreen. When you think you have enough sunscreen, get more. Reapply frequently as you're out in the water. Also, bring a hat that will stay on your head.
The sun was brutal.

Great area, everyone was super friendly. Great restaurants, places that will prepare your fresh catch, and nice accommodations. Made for a really nice place to get away and do some fishing. Not as crazy touristy.

Weather was very cold and rough....not unusual for late Nov/early Dec. Be prepared for alternate plans.

As far as inshore, you may not catch the biggest fish, but the smaller ones are still fun to reel in and you might get lucky and still catch a nice fish…

Find someone who knows the area well and has been doing it for a while! There are a lot of charters here, do some research before booking

Based on the weather conditions Captain Jacob recommended we meet at Sebastian Inlet instead and it paid off!!

Fishing in the river on weekends may be a challenge because of boat traffic, but the fishing in the ocean was great.

Take Dramamine just in case so you don’t waste a second of your trip. We caught fish as fast as we could get our hooks in the water!

We would definitely recommend Charley’s Fishing Charter and will be booking again the next time we visit.

Yes, if you’re looking to catch your dinner I would contact live action charters. He put us on some nice fish.

Jacob recommended fishing farther north in Melbourne due to extreme water temps in August. This was a good call.

Go offshore, the bite is better. Inshore fishing is really tough right now and has been for years.

be aware of the effect of the recent red tide - it has diminished in-shore fishing populations.
