What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Ocean City, New Jersey for the first time?

If you want to do a family fishing trip with kids I absolutely recommend this. Captain Mike had a barbie pole that my daughter used and caught more fish than anyone on the boat. I am positive that they have great outings for the more serious anglers as well.

Have to catch the Bass before the spawn. Most of the fish we saw were hunkering down and not as active.

Contact your captain and see what he recommends you bring and take if you experience sea sickness. Use sunscreen.

Depending upon the time of year, the fishing can be good or just so-so. You have to just enjoy the experience of being out there.

For flounder: Fish in the bay when the ocean is still cold. Best to go in the morning and on non windy days (so the lures hit the bottom).
