It can be a little slow in some spots in the mangrove flats, and patience is key. If you stick it out long enough, the fishing can be amazing. Be sure to follow all tips from your fishing guide or boat captain to ensure you catch the most fish. Water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are critical as it is quite hot and sticky at this time of year!

This was constant action, a lot of average size fish. If you are only after trophy fish, maybe go out deeper, but this was amazing. We caught the snapper slam and caught four species in one hour! Had a great day even though the weather was spotty. Great captain, friendliest I've been out with. Just a gentleman.

Weather is great this time of year. Lot's of fish to see and catch. We saw multiple shark, Tarpon, barracuda and more. Also saw some dolphins, sea turtles and a massive stingray. Very good time on the water.

Jonathan Kemp
This is such a beautiful and amazing experience. Fun fish to put up fun fights and just overall a chill and fun experience!

This was a very informative and great fishing trip for us. It’s great that Captain Brandon can accommodate whatever experience or fishing we wanted.

If you’re looking to catch snappers close to shore, this was an awesome charter. Would highly recommend

Get out on the water with a great guide like Capt Tom, happy I used Fishingbooker to do my research.

Make sure you use sunscreen before you go! Don’t take spray sunscreen on the boat…use it before you go and use lotion to cover everywhere exposed

Scott Rhinehart
If you have a beautiful calm day like we had. Be ready for fun, exciting fishing. Bring plenty of sunblock.

Seth Prochaska
Listen to your guides instruction. Bring lots of drinks to stay hydrated and plenty of sun protection.

Jason Harlow
It can be hot and miss in October between cold fronts and hurricanes, but my time there was phenomenal

Chris Bellino
Know the season. Don’t expect the captain to get you fish species that aren’t around this time of year.

Yes. We had bad weather so could not get off-shore. Generally it would have been good but poor effort from the captain.

Make sure to call a good guide, like Mark. He was able to teach us the tricks and trades to be able to fish the rest of the week by ourselves.

If you're looking for a short, productive 2 hour trip Captain Brandon is the guy.

Sandra Freeman
Bring a Hoodie and go with no expectations. Slow start but it did a 180, had great time!

David Ritz
I was unable to catch anything by myself fishing the bridges other than snapper.

Joe Whittaker
Aim for calm, shallow waters in and around the mangroves. You will find the bite.

Jeff Hawkins
This was great action fishing. I wanted more action for my son and we accomplished that for sure!

Jeff Teer
Plenty of sunscreen and water. The boat rides to good fishing are long but well worth it.
