What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Stock Island, Florida for the first time?

Use another fishing charter service other than- Your Charter- if you want more than just a boat ride..One of Cpt Natees choice spots is right out front where all the jet skis and boats travel thru.Nice and close to w little effort to find fiah.Cpt Martin scowled at all the boat traffic going by like he was agitated.We were 5 min from the dock.He complained more than anything else.To windy-15 mph winds ??

Our timing was bad right after a big storm, so we knew it'd be difficult to really catch anything. Our Captain did a great job making the trip fun for our two girls, which is what we asked of him that day.

The crew performed on a top notch level, catering to everyones needs based on experience, comfortability and even sea sickness. Cole was an expert when it came to the fishing, and Chase was a work horse ensuring our group had the ultimate experience. Captain Mike handled the rough waters well, and made his boat feel like home. If were ever in the Keys again, wed rent this charted 10 times over.

Do it !!!!!!!! If new maybe watch some YouTube on method of tickling the lobsters into your net. Practice snorkeling and increase the time you can hold your breath so you can get deeper and longer dives for the big ones !

I said no to was it what i expected only because it was better. I wanted tarpon but wrong season but we took a look anyway. Hooked up with a big permit and my landed a huge cobia. Neil was fantastic the day was excellent highly recomend.

Great place to come take in the history of key west. September is a good month for calm seas and good fun. Lobstering, reef fishing, and offshore are all good this time of the year on a good boat with a good crew.

We were absolutely spoiled in our catching expedition versus fishing expedition. A strong day of great fish and the captain made it easy to enjoy the time together.

Be prepared for the heat, it is dang hot! If you catch a big fish, the fight is exhausting! Pack some cool wraps you can dip into the water and use to cool down.

Fishing booker made the process smooth to help a first time visitor. Location of the marina was easy to find and the location was away from the busy old town area.

All was great and going directly out of stock Island saves running time. We had lines in within 25 mins. of leaving the dock.

Captain Dan is by far the best fishing charter I have been in. Five minutes into anchoring we started catching fish and it did not stop all day!

The morning trip had a much better day with nice fish caught, but our afternoon trip was not nearly as good. That’s the way fishing goes.

Lots of fishing options and though the day started slow (it happens sometimes) the captain adjusted location and we picked up quickly so there's plenty of opportunities for fish around.

The weather was impeccable. April weather is certainly the best. Not too hot. We were able to enjoy ourselves without sweating. Absolute perfection.

We have fished on a charter from Stock Island before and had great catches. We like the marina here.

We were told that if you want a lot of action, wait till late May and on. However, with Cris and Corey you can still expect to have fun. These guys work hard for you. Thanks!

Invest in a good fishing shirt it made all the difference. Bring snacks and drinks. Toggle your phone to yourself things can get pretty exciting out there.

The only disappointing thing was that grouper was no longer in season and we needed to throw them back.

Stock Island has a very nice marina. Go in April. I've been there then and we did great with the mahi.

There are really so many choices, research well and cross your fingers, It certainly worked out well for us.

Go as early in the season as possible. Temp on the ocean were brutal . Mahi were about all that was biting mid July

Have a boT you can get out of the sun and has air conditioning. Talk with your captain ahead of time.

Be ready for any weather conditions. Very hot, but also very windy. Make sure you pack lots of water and sunblock.

Early March isn’t the best time of year according to our crew, but we still put lots of meat in the boat for dinner!

Cooler weather, can get blown out from cold fronts, but usually there's a day to reschedule if so!
