Great fishing last couple of days. Hot water with plenty of life here in Nags head nc. Cobia, Spanish, blues, bonita, kings the last couple of days out of Oregon inlet. Thanks Devin on the poacher

A good run of cobia is taking place off oOregon inlet right now with some fish reaching 80lbs! Spanish mackerel are also making a strong showing along with snapper blues. Great actionon half days and 6 hour trips.

The watertemp rose back into the high sixtys and with it came a wave of life! Cobia blues spanish shoshowed up in force. I slipped out between rain showers and saw 15 cobia in 2 hours of fishing. Spanish and nice snapper blues bit well behind the inlet on the outgoingtide. looks great for the last 2 weeks of may.

Cobia have made aan early start to season here at Oregon inlet. Fishing was hot Saturday with some boats seeing ashigh as 50 fish!! Look for this fishing to really get good in the upcupcoming weeksweeks,sasay after may15

9/1-9/29 The first 10 days of Sept was awesome with spanish, albacores king mackerel blues moonfish and some cobia. Then Hurricane Florence pushed a big swell into Nags Head and made it difficult to get out the inlet for a week. After that the fishing has been very good now for this past week. Bait everywhere with it holding big Spanish mackerel and albacores to 12lbs. Off the beach 15 miles king mackerel are being taken along with a few dolphin. I've fished 4 trips in the past 4 days and fishing has been steady from the inlet n for 10 miles. Plenty of bites. Thanks again Devin Cage

Crushed the Spanish mackerel the past 2 days! Huge schools at times with birds working them. Mixed in was 5lb-12lb false albacores which pull like crazy! At times yesterday Spanish mackerel were being taken over a 8 mile area. I look for fishing to be good as long as we don't get a hard blow. Just bait everywhere with water up to 81 degrees.
