Very windy conditions , so we stayed in the bay and ran north up to Sarasota. Found a huge school of jack cravelle that we beat up for a couple hours. We then fished one grass flat that was out of wind catching mutiple trout, mackeral and ladyfish. We then finished with some snook and reds around docks.

Short Gag Grouper and Cobia

The Gag Grouper season is currently closed but it’s been fun catching these amazing fish. We’ve been catching lots of Cobias but no keepers, these fish are currently in season, they must be 36” min to keep. Grow Cobia grow! We’ll catch you later. Let’s Go Fishing Y’all

I would recommend finding a charter that takes you to the flats or even deep sea. Dock fishing is tough in Key west so highly consider booking. It is well worth it during your time down here.
