The bite has been hot multiple large red fish, lots of different species of sharks as of lately, one of the biggest ones have been a 6 1/2 foot tiger, shark some trout, some keeper, red fish, stingrays, Spanish mackerel, Pompano and various other fish. The weather is hot but the fish have been eating.

If you’re thinking about fishing Lake Lewisville in June, I highly recommend it. The fishing can be excellent, especially early in the morning before the heat sets in. We had an awesome day on the water and caught plenty of fish by staying mobile and following where they were feeding instead of sitting in one spot. Fresh bait made a huge difference, and changing it often kept the bites coming.
