Trip Summary

I took this family out for a weekend Flounder trip, and it tirned out great after a foggy start. Fishing near the inlet was tough, so we travelled back behind Margate. The water was clearer and there was no fog. Aside from some throwbacks, we boated this monster flounder! It jumped out of the water and I netted it middair! Summer is here and fishing has been 10x better than last year. ????

We had a near perfect charter, today! Flounder, Sea Bass and sharks were caught. The weather was a 10 ourts 10! I heard the reef was not producing, but we didn’t spend 30 minutes yo drive out there…?. All these fishers caught their first fish, today. Congratulations!!!

Another windy day, but now, it blew from the NE. Ugh! Nothing’s easy, but I looked at options and we started fishing. Lots of throwbacks and catching. Lots of great conversations and laughs. It was a perfect way to get three generations together for a couple of hours of menories. ?????

The wind blew 20mph, but we found a spot behind Longport that blocked the wind and we caught a lot of fish! The prize was a 20” Fluke! It appeared flounder are changing their preferred lure color, so I had to change, too. They were chomping on squid, Mackeral and Sea Robin. Congrats to this younf man for catching a monster flounder! ?????
