It was a calm day, light wind, some clouds and lots of catching! We trolled some metals and everyone got a chance to catch…and miss some. Then we went to Flounder fishing. A few throwbacks were caught and lots of smiles.

I took this young fisher and his father out for a short trip on a picturesque day. New to fishing, there was a learning curve. After a bit, this young man out-fished his father. But Dad’s don’t care when kids are smiling a big as this young man is.

We departed for a two-hour trip and crew had not fished saltwater, before. With some misses and some Captain’s help, everyone started to master the hooking part. It resulted in some caught throwbacks and dinner! We caught Sea Robins, Croakers and smaller flounder, too! Two-hour trips offer a smaller window to catch, but we have been catching! ???
