Trip Summary

Capture of the day on January 12-13 In short, two intense days like a lot of action and excellent moments of fishing. Yesterday the results were a “Grand Slam”, since we had a marlin, a sailfish and a mahi-mahi, it started before nine in the morning. The second day, it was something wonderful having three beautiful sailfish on the fishing line, with the marlines we had less luck and we lost the score 0-3. Being in the same place where other boats took out billfish one after another - doubles, singles, as if the sea was only for them - and we without a single tense line... that hurts. But the ocean always has its way of rewarding. Around noon, the tide changed and with it came the action: out of nine warriors who showed up, four gave us the fight we were waiting for. ? Fishing Report — Offshore Session Technique: Trolling Location: Offshore – Costa Rica A complicated day at sea. Fishing was not easy: five sailfish approached just to play, without being caught, and we were left with the desire for a good fight. The challenging weather and dizziness of our companions marked the day, which led us to return earlier than planned. Even so, a good mahi-mahi accompanied us back and ended the day with a taste of hope. The sailfish... well, there will be revenge. Fishing Report — 5-Hour Offshore Session Technique: Trolling Location: Offshore – Costa Rica Already recovered from health, our friend and her husband returned to the sea... and they had action! The sailfish did not disappoint, showing all their strength and beauty in each jump. 5 were seen, 3 took bait, 2 were captured and successfully released, and 1 was released in the middle of the battle.
