We decided to give the area a second chance, drawing precision circles on the reef. It was then that the long line burst: a beautiful female Mahi-Mahi, of about powerful 30 pounds, jumped to the attack with an impressive chromatic ferocity. The show didn't end there. While we were fighting with the "Golden Queen," two more companions escorted their fight, swimming curiously to the very side of the boat. Seeing those green and yellow flashes under the hull is a reminder of the richness of our waters. Although they decided not to bite this time, they left us with a rapid pulse for the constant trolling back home.
