Trip Summary

The morning started out good with several nice Lake Wylie Blue Cats boated and released. Unfortunately an Alberta Clipper rolled thru at 9:30 and the wind basically shut down the morning with sustained winds 20+ mph and gusts to 45+ mph. So we had to call it a day and only got to fish a few hours but we did catch some nice ones before the Clipper rolled thru. Pretty Cool side note about today's Trip - one of my guest was 7 ft tall UNC Tarheel Basketball legend Lee Dedmon.

Another awesome morning of crappie fishing with the Carolina Angler. We limited out on Slab Crappie and also put 50 large perch in the cooler. Even though it was cold, we put some giant LKW crappie in the boat, with multiple fish in the 1 - 2 lb range.

Another AWESOME CRAPPIE and PERCH trip with the Carolina Angler. Even thought it was cold and windy, we Limited Out on Crappie and boated over 100 Jumbo perch during the trip. One of the Biggest limits of Crappie and Perch ever caught on Lake Wylie in recent memory. The Photos don't lie......we are consistently limiting out on Slab crappie and Jumbo Perch from now thru April.

Record Morning of CRAPPIE Fishing

We had a record day of crappie fishing this morning with 12 fish over 1 lb and numerous fish in the 1.5 to 2.0 lb range. While we catch a lot of nice crappie on Lake Wylie, we don't always catch so many "slabs" in a 4 hour trip. We ended up with over 80 crappie boated and we left em biting 2X.
