Trip Summary

We are still having to fight tge wind but have been ginding fish on most of the reefs wjen we can get out. The back bay is still holding plenty of fish.

Well we ran to Cat Island first thing and there were just too many boats for a bite. We ran back to a spot in close and found some nice trout and a couple nice slot redfish. The fishing is heating up but so are the temperatures. Book an early trip and beat the heat of summer.

The redfish bite is pretty hot in the bay and surrounding bayous. We had our one person limit with the forst three live shrimp our custumer tossed out. Several smaller ones released to swim and fight another day. The two hour trip is a good trip to see if you enjoy saltwater fishing. And as you can see it can be very fruitful.
