Trip Summary

Fluke fishing has picked up in the waters around Brigantine NJ this week. We have been drifting the ICW and other back bay areas with good results. Most of the fish are released, but many have gone to the dinner table. We also are catching a mix of sand sharks, sea bass, and sea robins.

Today we boated 23 striper in three hours of fishing. All were caught on light tackle, and many were on top water baits. We released everything, but would have had a limit of 28" to under 31" plus we could have used tags on the five 25" to under 28" fish caught. We are only going to be on the Raratan Bay a few more weeks. If you would like to get in on some great action contact us.

The Babu captains trailer-ed the boat to Raritan Bay, and went striper fishing with light tackle exploring the area. They hooked and release over 12 striper once they found the location and bait the fish preferred. We were run and gun fishing most of the time and caught all the fish casting lures, buck-tails, and paddle tails. We are only going to be here for a few weeks.
