Trip Summary
Winter time fishing can be some of the best times to go out in search of fat speckled trout and abundant amounts redfish and flounder, typically these fish are scattered throughout the shallow flats in our local area but due to extremely low tides fish are forced to congregate and bunch up together deep holes and channels. This makes fishing for them fun and exciting! Using free line live shrimp or small 1/4oz jigs is almost guaranteed a fish on every cast when the wind is calm in most channels, once the wind picks up drifting with popping corks and live shrimp help continue the action along the flats for large redfish and trout!
