Trip Summary
We had a great start to the 2016 year fishing in the San Juan Bay
1/2/16 Morning Trip: Released a 50+ pound tarpon and missed another one at the jump. Also released a beatiful 6-7 pound snook.
1/5/16 Morning Trip: Went Reef fishing due to the flat seas. Capt. Luis managed to guide the clients to catch a 20 pound barracuda that was released after a good picture. Also caught a mixed bag for dinner including Mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper and a couple of mackerels.
Winds have finally let down, which makes our fishing options more varied and bite has picked up significantly. I am sure it will keep on.
Happy 2016!
Capt. Luis
