Not only that but he managed to catch the live baits we needed to target the Hammerhead Sharks which were hopefully going to be the star fish of the day. The main aim of the day was to keep a young boy happy with his fishing and at the same time keep dad the angler happy too. So we used some of Rory’s catches and turn them into something bigger. We put out 2 live baits as we knew that the Hammerheads were around as they came up swimming around the boat within 10 minutes of starting our fishing. It was not long before we had some action …… one of the live baits was soon being taken and moving rapidly along the water. Soon hooked it was fish on! Mike was in full control and bringing his fish to the boat with style. I meanwhile took over the second bite …….. this was a bigger fish and it put on a show for us splashing on the surface and twisting and turning in the water it certainly knew it had been hooked. Unfortunately it thrashed the line with its tail and broke the line but not all was lost Mike was still hooked up and was playing his fish well.
