Could not have asked for a better day with an exceptional crew. We were joined by some of our local favorites Carter Takacs Kelie Limehouse and home town friends Don Dingman and Rebecca Dingman. They needed meat fish to be distributed among friends and family, as well as a catch, clean, cook episode they’re shooting. It was an easy day with a late 8:30 start after Don and Rebecca arrived late last night. We headed out around 11 miles to the current line and found ourselves all alone … except for the fish. Over the next hour and a half we went thru 40 baits picking and choosing who to keep. However, I’m not sure we saw a fish under 20 lbs. with several in the 30 lb. range. We topped off the cooler with fresh fillets and called it an early day.
