So much for traditional fishing seasonality. Mahi Mahi are still around!!! We saw exciting action on this short 4-hour private afternoon fishing charter out of the Puerto Aventuras marina in the Riviera Maya. And what closed the day in Mexican Caribbean style was the fresh ceviche our Pescado Adventures team prepared with fresh fish straight out of the sea! No better way to end the day than some deep sea fishing, good food and good company.

Wahoo season has come early this year. On this trip we trolled south from the Puerto Aventuras marina down towards Tulum and hit some action early on. Cut into medium-sized blocks, and interspersed with peppers, onion and pineapple, wahoo makes delicious eating on skewers cooked over a slow fire. Life can not get better than this!
