Flounder
Flounder

Trip Summary

Wee Cat boarded up a headed out for a few hours of flounder fishing. The SW wind blew somewhat, and that created an upwelling, bringing in 58 degree ocean water. That usually spells disaster for flounder catching when water temps were up around 80. We fished further back and found warmer water (low 60s) and hungry throwback sized flounder. Then, Jeff and Dani caught an 18” flounder each! Dinner! We also bagged a Kingfish and Dogfish shark. With the Tik-Tok station on the Sirius radio playing tunes the girls loved, it was get a tan and compete for highest catch. Fun and laughs! Excellent day on the saltwater!!! ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️???
