Stripers Bit For Us - Others, Not So Muc
November 08, 2022 Somers Point 8 photos

Trip Summary

My buddy (Capt. Gabe) and I fished, a most gorgeous November 8th, off Island Beach State Park. We had a “tip.” With the right lures and technique, we crushed it for about 30-45 minutes until about 20 boats mobbed us…and killing the bite. On the way back, we hit up our spot and I hooked up with a fat, fiesty, strong-ass Striper that wanted to take me and my fishing rod for a swim! Luckily for that fish, he was released, as we already had our keepers. These Stripers were feeding heavily on calamari! Anyway, gorgeous day and lots of whales! After Thanksgiving, you may want to charter for some delicious Striped Bass! ?
