Trip Summary

This great family returned another year to catch fish on the Wee Cat. First, this was an example where the weather dudes got it wrong, but not too wrong. Low wind made for super-calm water. But the 1:00PM rain came at 8:30 AM and 10:45 AM. The latter was had torrential downpour and some lightening. The catching was OK, and we boated a 17.5” keeper. Besides that, there were a half dozen throwbacks and some solid misses at the boat. Some Bluefish harassed us by biting out Gulp in half. The conversation was great and it was special to have a family to return to Wee Cat Charters for another round of fishing. And yes, we got soaked as we docked, but ya know what? This trip was fun and will always be remembered. ???
