Chinook Salmon Fishing Dec/Jan
January 10, 2017 Sooke 2 photos

Trip Summary

Jan 10, a flat calm sea full of salmon. In the winter chinook salmon range from 5-16lbs and are very aggressive as they are in their feeding stage of life. These fish should be around in good numbers well into the spring April/May, when we start to see returning mature fish at that time. If you want a fun action packed trip target these aggressive fish! Our crab traps were stacked full of Dungeness crab as well.
