Trip Summary

November starts with the run of Spanish Mackeral,Bonita and King Mackeral. These fish are very exciting with long, powerful runs. We usually troll with large spoons or live bait. The local reefs and wrecks provide relief for plenty of bait schools which in turn draw many predators within a short distance from shore. Cobia are often seen on these reefs as water temperatures reach the 70 degree mark. Sheephead are found both inshore and nearshore doring the cooler months. We have had great luck with Mangrove Snapper on the nearshore reefs as well. We usually chum for them to get them fired up. Grey Snapper and Porgies along with the occasional Hog Fish make for a mixed bag and a full cooler. Make sure to book soon for the holidays.
