Trip Summary

We had an excellent afternoon of fishing!!! We were in the moments before a storm, the atmospheric pressure was low. The river was also in decline and all these conditions made the fish eat more eagerly. We did drift fishing. We used floating lines and bottom lines. The strikes were on both types of lines. We caught eels and moray eels. Taking advantage of the calm conditions, we fished in the open river, in an area that combines sand banks and deep channels. Finally, in four hours of fishing, we were able to land a very good catfish called Surubí and which is one of the most difficult fish to catch here and five very combative golden dorados.
