Trip Summary

Another cooler full of slab crappie and large perch this morning. We caught over 100 fish and ended up keeping 40 nice crappie and 50 large perch. The crappie and perch bite is on fire so now is the time to book your spring trip if you want to fill up your freezer with crappie and perch fillets.

We absolutely hammered the Catfish on Lake Norman today. We caught over 250 lbs+ of Catfish in a 4 hour Trip. We had numerous Blue Cats over 20 lbs but the Big fish of the day was a Massive 41.5 lb Flathead. In addition to catching all these Blues and flat-heads, we also caught 9 very nice Channel Cats in the 3-8 lb range. All the fish were photographed and released to fight again another day.
