Windy Trip Today! Bite Was Slow!

Trip Summary

I took s group of three out, today. Wind was steady 20-25 mph, despite report saying it would be only gusts. But! It was almost 70 degrees. Water temp cooled to 45. Nevertheless, my group persevered and we fished hard. Lures didn’t seem to work, so we went to PLAN B - bloodworms and White Perch. They pulled in a few fish. Remember…it’s fishing (not always catching). Experience makes a difference with casting & retrieving. (We fished the same spot where a few larger Stripers were being caught on lures, next to us.) Every time you fish, you improve. Then, your odds of hooking the iconic Striped Bass improves. ??
