We met with Captain John and his son when we boarded, the made us feel comfortable and safe from the start. The first hour we had five rods rigged with lures and trolled for bonito, being unsuccessful we then used lighter rods with Half pound sinkers and bonito for bait. We fished on the bottom around reefs and Immediately caught Snapper, Bream, Parrot Fish. Captain John helped my youngest grandson aged 10 who finished with a bag of four fish. Overall it was a most enjoyable mornings fishing and my son and grandsons disembarked very happy with the trip. I would recommend John and his son to Make a fishing trip with them a good one. Thank you Kayton for your feedback.
Awesome Trip with Ice and John, heaps of action and we got strait into a serious work up and could see yellow fin, mahi mahi and had a marlin take one of our lures.
We managed to take home 5 big skipjack tuna after an epic quadruple hook up!
The boat is awesome and there is a lot of flexibility on which species you wish to target. We chose a mix and spend half the day out deep chasing marlin and mahi mahi and the other half on the reef casting poppers for GT and Spanish mackerel.
The gear is all top of the line, shimano, rapala ect, however it is well used and has seen better days. It would be hard to swallow loosing the fish of a life time due to the tackle failing!
I will definitely book again as the experience was incredible and we caught good fish, however I would say if you had a favourite big game lure, bring it along.

Thank you Tom for your experience with us and are happy with your catch.
Nothing was supplied as advertised, no soft drinks, but a little ice. The gear was rusty, cheap and old. An old 100mm kitchen knife and very little bait was supplied. You can keep your fish they said. Yet take them whole not cleaned or scaled, just put them in your pockets and go. And it was suggested to tip, ha ha. The strong smell of petrol was not good.
