William and Sam were great.
The thing that impressed us was that he said a prayer before pulling out of the slip at the harbor.ย My wife and I enjoyed the afternoon fishing with Seth.ย We were in Destin celebrating our 42nd anniversary and catching some fish and a relaxing time on the water was great for both of us. We got a bunch of Spanish mackerel and a big 25 lb jack cravell gave me a work out.ย We trolled for Kings but they werenโt there. He found them the next day and brought me some filets to take home because the clients didnโt want them.ย
He had live bait and lures and we caught fish on both.ย The boat is stable and comfortable and the gear is good.

Booked a 4 hour shark fishing trip with High Cotton on short notice.ย Didnโt know what to expect but it was awesome!ย Captain Will and first mate Andreas took great care of us. Hooked a 100 pound black tip shark within minutes of leaving the harbor.ย Caught a bunch of Spanish mackerel and Bonita on the way to our destination. Then we caught an estimated 8 foot/400 pound tiger shark. Incredible!ย The kids loved it.ย Will and Andreas were confident, knowledgable, and fun. Had a great time!ย Highly recommend.ย Amazing family memories. Will be calling them next year for another trip.

We overcame some adverse weather at the beginning, but turned out to be a great day caught about 20 to 30 fish but kept about 10, they had a bathroom if you needed it hand several times th e Captain was driving the boat and fishing at the same time to help us have a better chance
I can not say enough wonderful things about the experience we had with High Cotton Charters. I will have to agree with other reviews and say our favorite part of the trip was the quick prayer before we took off. The kids were each able to catch several fish. We come to this area every year for vacation and I believe this will become a yearly activity for us with High Cotton Charters. We did the two hour trip and it was perfect for our younger children. Looking forward to a longer trip next time!
captain seth was very kind and welcoming. We chartered the boat for shark fishing but we didnโt catch any it was fun and relaxing thanks to captain seth. captain tried very hard but i guess sharks were not hungry or may be cold weather was not conducive.ย anyway, I definitely recommend captain seth and would certainly book him again.
