I booked a trip for 6 total people about a month before we arrived at our condo. Everything seemed fine until 15 minutes before the trip was supposed to begin. The captain called me to tell me that he was getting bait and would be back at the dock soon. He also informed me that the 26’ boat that I had booked was given to another group and he was in a smaller boat, a 19’ skiff. The whole experience was weird and uncomfortable because the equipment was sub-par at best. The captain told off color jokes and made numerous comments that were inappropriate at best for my wife, sister, and 2 young boys that were with us. Yes, we caught fish but the captain wasn’t aware of the slots for keeping the fish and had to look them up. I will not book with this company next time I go to my condo unless I hear back from the owner.
