Our trip with Capt Joe was amazing. I had texted him when I booked the trip that I was on the fence between a tarpon or a permit trip. Ive caught Tarpon before but never had a chance at a Permit. It was an unseasonably cold day in St. Pete, not exactly the best weather for fishing. In spite of that, Joe was courteous, knowledgeable and a great teacher. He patiently explained and showed us newbies the basics of fishing, while providing excellent tips for the more experienced members of our group. As a result, everyone caught a fish or two, even three! It was a great experience and we hope to come back agan.

Had a wonderful experience with Joe Masi from Masi Boy’s Fishing today with my sons. We are avid fishers from Long Island and going forward we will be spending plenty of time fishing in the St. Pete’s area with Joe. Fish were plentiful and a wide range of species in only a 3 hour trip. Captain Joe was both very knowledgeable and helpful to my young sons in teaching them the waters and how to fish.
