The guides showed up unprepared and missing equipment. They spent 4 hours playing on their phones and sleeping. No fish were caught. They were, however, happy to take our full payment when they woke up and our time was up.

We lost our knife in the sand we didn’t show up “unprepared” matter fact we already had everything set up ready to fish when you got there.
You did not shake our hand and stood 100 yards away from where the rods were clearly showing your lack of interest in fishing.
You booked our cheapest trip possible. Yes we go 1000 yards out on more expensive trips but you booked the family trip for 600$.
It was 3 footers, blowing 25 mph and storming after dark.
I welcome you to go 1000 yards out in a kayak or use a drone in those conditions and see how it goes. Maybe that will put some perspective into it for you.
I’m not having my helper risk their life for you if you aren’t going to even engage in the trip.

We try as hard as we can every trip but it’s just impossible to make it happen every single night.
I understand you are disappointed trust me I am more than anybody i do not like taking people out and not catching anything.
Some days there is just nothing we can do.
Ironically we were about to reel the reels in and take them out 1000 yards since it calmed down and sit out there until 2 am for you but you choose to leave early.

I found Drop Zone Shark Fishing over a month ago and had to plan a trip while my wife and I were on our baby moon in Destin, FL. This trip absolutely did not dissapoint. What a fun time at the beach catching SHARKS!!! Zach and JJ were great for us at getting some sharks. We caught five total. 2 black tip sharks and 3 bull sharks. 2 bull sharks were huge maybe 200 to 250lbs. Thank you again for a great experience. We will be in touch next time we are in Destin.

Over all our experience was great, I wish we had got a shark to shore, but fishing is not cast and always catching. I will say the ad on here is a little misleading. It says they provide drinks, which I wish I would have known since we had several thirsty kiddos. Heads up Destin has no bathrooms so make sure you use it before hand.
