Overall I had a really fun time and enjoyed the experience out on the water. The crew was friendly, the ride was relaxing, and it was a good atmosphere for first-timers. My only disappointment was not catching any fish, especially after spending around $300. I understand fishing can be unpredictable, but I was hoping for a little more action or guidance to help improve the chances of catching something. Still, I appreciate the experience and memories from the trip.

we brought our 2, 5 & 6 year old boys out for their first big fishing trip. The 2 hour trip was a perfect taste at being on the big water! Captain and his mate were very patient with them as they explored the entire boat and asked mag questions, we look forward to our next trip later this season!

This fishing charter was a great experience! I had no previous fishing experience and the Captain made everything easy and fun. The thrill of catching a salmon is incredible. Since we were from out of town, we went more for the experience than the fish itself but the Captain gave us the great idea to bring our fish over to the Paisley Grille where they would cook it for us. Having been on several fishing charters on Lake Michigan, I can honestly say, being on the Kingpin with Captain Astro and first mate, Parker, was an excellent choice! The fish were slow, but that crew definitely worked for us. It was my son’s first time out salmon fishing.
