My son and I had the MOST WONDERFUL time wirb Captain Frenchy. it wasnt an ifeal fishing guy but he totally made things happen. We truly had “the one that got away” - he estimated it was close to a 30” trout - got it up to the boat snd it slipped the hook. We had so much fun with Captain Frenchy and learned so much! Conditions were not great and boats around us struggled to even hook up with catfish. awesome time very quality fishing which to me is better then a bunch of small ones.  You really know your waters and fish.  Was a bad weather day with change in pressure to very high, high heat and also a bad west wind.  However, we searched and found quality fish (18 # bull red very unusual for June,  a large trout.  Even managed at end for the LA grand slam with a red, trout, flounder and a decent size bass.  He kept me hydrated with water did all the baiting and releasing of the fish. ...
