had a great time with Capt Matt! caught multiple species and learned a lot. he is a great guy who will make sure that slow periods are filled with good conversation. will be back next time im around these parts. trip would be good for anyone from beginners to more advanced anglers. he has everything we needed, i just brought some sunscreen!

Capt Matt was personable and great to spend time with on the water with him. He is knowledgable and worked really hard to find fish but the fish were not cooperating nor was the weather . Caught one large Black Drum, a few small ones. A day on the water fishing is better than a day in the office !

Our group was 3 adults and 3 kids (ages 11, 8, and 3) for a 4 hour trip. Everyone caught multiple fish. The 8 year old got the catch of the day - a 31.75” Red Drum! I would definitely recommend Behind the Island charters with Captain Matt! He was patient and very informative!
