This was our 5th time to OBX in 9 years and as the kids are now older, we decided on chartering a fishing trip.  Captain Lewis took us out trolling and put us on Spanish Mackerel right away!  we had plenty of action and a bag full of fish to fry for dinner.  Captain Lewis was super friendly and a pleasure to fish with. I would recommend him without hesitation!

Even though the with the weather we had the day before that messed with where the fish might of normally been around, we still caught fish!  The captain and crew were very knowledgeable and kept trying different things.  With more than 20 other boats out that day, we could hear the chatter that we had probably the most fish of them all!

We had combination trip of trolling and bottom/ wreck fishing. Captain Lewis found fish and kept us on them. Caught nice mixed bag of spanish mackerel, black sea bass, triggerfish and bluefish. Great boat, great Captain and great experience.

Lewis our Captain made this trip worth every cent. He put us on fish and we caught several. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend Waymaker Charters to anyone wanting a fun and exciting fishing trip.

We arrived about 10 minutes early and were met by the captain. He asked what we wanted to fish and said the conditions haven’t been great just after the recent storm. We just wanted to catch fish didn’t matter if big or small. We went out and hit some wreckage and immediately were pulling in fish, when the bite slowed we started trolling and we getting into some great blues.
