Captain Tom is a Gem. He is from a family of fisherman with a long lineage in the area. His family settled on Hatteras Island while the Indians were still there. This was my first time fishing, so I took my father with me on the trip.  I absolutely loved fishing.  Captain Tom is very personable, patient, and kind.  We caught 83 lbs of bluefish in 45 minutes.  Oh what a day!

We had an amazing day fishing aboard the Hatterascal with Captain Tommy. Captain Tom said “I smell fish, get ready.” a minute later all four rods hit hard! He put us on the fish and kept us on them so much so that we had over 75 pounds of fish! We actually had to leave the spot because we didn’t have enough cooler space for anymore in our camper van!! Captain Tom knows these waters and he knows how to Catch the big ones.
