This trip was an opportunity for me to make memories with my grandson. It was a highlight of our vacation, my grandson, and they both caught lots of fish. The captain was amazing and took time for us. Look forward to returning to the island and when we do, we intend to book again at least 2 to 3 trips fishing! Rick
My Grandson (Jackson) and I booked this trip a few months back. Jackson has been talking about it every since and wanted to catch a shark and he did. This is our third year in a row we booked a trip with Captain Wilder. And every time it has been a great fishing trip. We both would highly recommend Captain Wilder. He is very knowledgeable fishing and great about sharing his wisdom about fishing and history of the area. He is great with kids and very patient. We will be booking another trip next year and many after. Jackson has stopped talking about the shark he got.
If you want a genuine trip with a genuine captain, this is your guy! If you are looking for bells and whistles and all the fancy stuff, then this isn’t your kind of trip. Wilder takes you to the fish and you get every experience out there. What a fantastic experience and great fishing! We caught multiple species of all sizes and all types. He is genuine and helpful, yet not in your way and makes for an enjoyable experience. Perfect day with a great captain, we booked the next day immediately!
Being from Arizona, I and my sons had no idea about what to expect. What a blast! From start to finish Captain Wilder helped us out and told us great stories about growing up in the bay area. We all caught something and my son ended up landing a little shark!!! The day we went out the water was a little rough, but we were having so much fun, and Captain Wilder was so skilful that it didn't even bother us. 5 out of 5 - would highly recommend!
Wilder was a great guide. We caught sharks, snapper, spadefish, and more. My son was eager to catch gulf fish, and this was everything we hoped for. Coming back soon for spearfishing!
Captain Wilder put us on the red snappers. Was able to catch two keepers! Captain Wilder was great with my twin 10 year boys. He was able to find the fish in our short amount of time. Very knowledgeable and comfortable around the area. Saw a ton of dolphins on our way out to fish. Ready to book our next fishing trip!
