Captain Scott was amazing and so prompt with responding. I booked this charter for myself, my dad, and my 11-year-old son. My son fishes freshwater canals and lakes almost daily, but he had been wanting to do more saltwater fishing. I am SO glad we chose Bottoms Up with Captain Scott!

Captain Scott was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive throughout the trip. He made sure we found fish to bring home, while also putting us on fish that were just plain fun to catch. We never felt rushed and had an absolutely amazing day on the water.

By the end of the trip, we had caught 18 fish across 5 different species! The highlight for me was when my son stopped me in the middle of the trip and said, “I love my life.” That’s how you know it was a great day.

Captain Scott was great and had us catching Snapper within minutes of arriving at our first stop. Unfortunately we had two in our party that wasn’t cut out for the heat and waves. So we cut the original fishing plan short and Scott accommodated with some sightseeing and shallow water fishing to finish off the trip.

Caught a few Snappers, lost a few big ones, barricuda and sharks snagged a few of my fish, but other than that… the trip was fun and I was very pleased with my overall experience. I’d recommend this trip to beginners and experienced anglers. You should take seasickness pills just in case. Bring some dry clothes just in case.
